Search Engine Friendly Site

It is importamt to understand that a Search Engine Friendly site does not mean that your site will achieve top rankings. What it does mean is that it meets generally accepted criteria like the Google Webmaster Guidelines and your site will be easy for the search engines to crawl, index, and classify.

What we will do for your site is make sure that optimized title tags (very important), menus (very important), and meta tags (minor importance) are in place with the initial core setup of your web site. We will not go back and optimize pages you have created.

The only way to get your site to the top of the organic search engine rankings is to actively optimize the content on your site and to build hundreds (and in competitive markets thousands) of quality inbound links to your site. Obviously, there are more details than just that simple phrase. That's where you either study up on the subject on your own or hire a qualified Search Engine Optimization (SEO) professional.

Keep these facts in mind when you hire someone for your SEO program:

  • Most of the web design companies that say they do SEO have no idea what search engine optimization is all about.
  • The only quick way to the top of the rankings is through Pay Per Click advertising. Organic SEO takes time. For a new domain that usually means at least one year to rank well in Google.
  • The only real estate keywords that will drive any significant traffic to your web site are your city name + real estate and your city name + MLS. Those are the only important keywords! Phrases like your city + oceanfront homes, your city + homes for sale, your city + oceanfront real estate drive very little traffic each month. Granted, adding up a bunch of minor keyword phrases will bring additional traffic to your site, but don't pay top dollar to optimize or pay per click advertise for those phrases. In fact, with very little research and effort you can optimize your own site for those phrases.
